Dr. Caroline McDonald-Harker, Principal Investigator, and Co-Researcher Dr. Timothy Haney both from the Department of Sociology & Anthropology at Mount Royal University in Calgary, Alberta have teamed up to study the impact of the 2013 High River flood on the family. The study entitled “The Effects and Implications of Environmental Disasters on the Family: Communicating, Coping, and Caring Among Families Impacted by the 2013 High River Alberta Floods”, examines the experiences of High River families impacted by the 2013 flood disaster.
